Nike's Air Max 98 Gets a Premium Shanghai Colorway
Chinese character uppers.

After surfacing in a New York Knicks-inspired edition, Nike‘s Air Max 98 now steps out in a premium Shanghai-themed colorway.
This version of the retro runner boasts a multi-pattern upper with three different 上海 (“Shanghai” in Chinese) prints in varying shades of grey. The digital-effect of the Chinese characters nods to the metropolis city’s animated lights, while red mini Swooshes with touches of blue add some vibrancy to the monochrome colorway. Finally, a leather tongue tab with tilted Air Max branding adds another twist to the special edition pair.
There’s still no confirmed release date for this Nike Air Max 98 colorway, so stay tuned for more details and share your thoughts in the comments below.
