adidas Originals Teams up With TfL for Capsule Footwear Collection
Reworking the Temper Run, Continental 80 and ZX 500RM.
adidas Originals’ latest collaboration is an unexpected one — with Transport for London (TfL for short). Launched in order to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the Oyster card, the collab is called the “Oyster Club Pack” and consists of three models in the Continental 80, Temper Run and ZX 500RM. Limited to 1500 pairs overall, each pair comes with an Oyster card with £80 in credit.
Each shoe is designed to tell a specific story from TfL’s history and there’s also bespoke packaging and a leather Oyster card holder. Gavin Thompson, senior vice president of West Europe at adidas said the following in a statement. “London is a city bubbling with creativity from a population constantly moving forwards. TfL and the Underground network make that possible. This partnership allows adidas to celebrate the world’s most famous transport systemand Londonthrough our designs.”
The adidas Originals x TfL collaboration will be released on October 27 at adidas Originals stores in London and at selected retailers.
