nonnative & Vans' Sk8-Hi Zip-Up Capsule Is Dropping This Week
Coming in black or beige.

After images of a hairy suede, zip-up Sk8-Hi capsule from nonnative and Vans emerged towards the end of 2017, the pack now has a release date. The sneaker is based around the original version of the Sk8-Hi first manufactured in the early 1980’s and has been given a grain hairy suede upper and a detachable military style zip that runs down the tongue.
Other features include elastic panels under the tongue, which mean the shoes can worn with an open zip, as well as a checkerboard inner lining. The collaboration comes in two different colorways, with a black version as well as one in nonnative’s theme color of beige.
The capsule is set to drop on January 10, with international shipping being available exclusively from COVERCHORD. The sneakers are set to retail for ¥18,500 JPY (approximately $165 USD). In other sneaker news, Kendrick Lamar recently debuted the upcoming Cortez “Kenny I.”
