Necessity Sense Channels '90s Nostalgia in Lane Crawford Capsule Collection
As a tribute to legendary Hong Kong band Beyond.
Taiwanese luxury brand Necessity Sense teams up with Lane Crawford for a new 2018 capsule collection. Titled “Glory Times,” the collection pays homage to Hong Kong’s legendary band Beyond and will host a ’90s-themed pop-up event resembling a soundproof recording studio to showcase Beyond’s musical motif at the Lane Crawford shops in Hong Kong Harbour City and Shanghai Times Square.
As a tribute to Beyond’s iconic fashion style, the lineup consists of oversized jackets and pants with embellishments alongside shirts with graphics of previous album covers and the artwork for hit single “Glory Times.” Shot in the colonial streets of Hong Kong, the lookbook draws influences from the ‘90s creative boom and Wong Kar Wai filmography.
