Brothers Build Flying Bathtub in Order to Buy Sandwiches
When bathtubs fly.
Two German brothers, Philipp and Johannes Mickenbecker (also known as The Real Life Guys), have finally taken their flying bathtub drone out into the wild. Crossing farm land and a small pond, the 120-horsepower bathtub drone carried one of the bothers into town on his quest to buy a sandwich. Leaving bystanders bewildered as they looked on at the flying bathtub, the flight and project was fully backed by the German government, and at one point the cashier asks if the flight was a success.
Although somewhat silly in nature, the fact that this bathtub was able to carry a grown man such a distance is another step forward for drone and propeller technology. Maybe this is not the best time for GoPro to be quitting the drone market after all.
