MR.OLIVE Taps muu for Hand-Detailed Varsity Jacket
The Japanese artist adds personalized drawings and embroidery to each piece.
MR.OLIVE rejoins Japanese artist muu for a collaborative release, this time centering on a single item: a varsity jacket featuring bespoke detailing.
Utilizing the denim jacket as the base of the collaboration, muu’s artisanal detailing only adds to the wearability of the item. The midweight washed denim jacket features a quilted lining for warmth, bleached sleeves and tonal ribbing on the cuffs, hem and neck, along with a double zipper and slant hand pockets. The artist’s handcraft appears on each jacket, with hand-drawn detailing on the sleeves and front, and “Outside the Line” embroidery on the rear. There’s even a customized leather “from muu” patch sewn into the lining.
