It was a huge 2017 for Helmut Lang, with the label recruiting Shayne Oliver for its relaunch as well as launching its Artist Series and Re-Edition project. Helmut Lang has now kicked off its 2018 in a big way, with a campaign looking at the brand’s fans.
The campaign imagery for Helmut Lang Re-Edition is a collaboration with Exactitudes, a photographic project launched in 1994 that looks at underground subcultures and global communities. These images were shot by the team behind Exactitudes, Ellie Uyytenbroek and Ari Versluis — who also shot a recent Palace lookbook. The imagery also features some of the label’s most famous fans, with Kanye West and Solange starring alongside other collectors in the campaign.
