Julien David Fall/Winter 2018 Goes to the Dogs
The Japanese label serves up loungy looks and canine masks.
Julien David is known for its slouchy casualwear, and kicks things up a notch for its Fall/Winter 2018 collection, juxtaposing its typically effortless styling with playful dog masks.
Recognizable staple items from the Japanese brand reappear, with its chunky skate sneakers and relaxed jeans returning with slight tweaks while the brand reintroduces its familiar Fall/Winter fare, like overcoats with wide lapels and relaxed bomber jackets. Similarly, Julien David brings back its familiar track jackets and sweat suits, but debuts sunny new colors, like yellow and blue for the cold weather. New additions to the brand include weather resistant cargo pants and rain coats, in line with the recent trek gear fad. Subverting all of the looks, of course, are an impressively varied selection of dog masks, ranging from Pugs and Poodles to a Shiba with a side-long stare.
