Watch Hudson Mohawke Glide Above New York City in New Music Video
HudMo shares new visuals for ‘Lantern’ favorite, “System”

HudMo was inspired by some tear-out Jeff Mills offset with minimalist classical arpeggios for this latest video for “System.” He teamed up with video director Dominic Flannigan who used a 4k helicopter to fly all over New York City’s iconic landscape to capture rare footage from high above – he blended the footage with classic rave visuals and cg stock art of the late ’90s where the grid of the city would be superimposed with circuit boards and processors. The end result was an interesting juxtapose to Philip Glass’ “1000 Airplanes On The Roof” opera.
“System” is taken from the Hudson Mohawke‘s new Lantern album out now on iTunes.
