Rauw Alejandro’s “Dando Vueltas” Premiere Blends Music, Fútbol and Community in New York City
With more than 250 guests in attendance, the night marked a new chapter for Rauw Alejandro x Buchanan’s Whisky.
New York City set the stage as Rauw Alejandro and Buchanan’s Blended Scotch Whisky came together for the global premiere of “Dando Vueltas,” an evening where music, fútbol, and community converged along the Hudson. The result was a high-energy celebration rooted in Latin culture ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
More than 250 guests were in attendance, bringing together a mix of fans, artists, and creatives from across the city. Among them were Brooklyn legend Toñita, Bronx duo Planta Industrial, actresses Dascha Polanco and Maleni Cruz, as well as NYC-based creators Flavio and Flavio, Viviane de Castro, and Maria Beltre. Producer Nino Segarra (Dimelo Nino), DJ Flipstar, and tattoo artist Sare E. Gonzalez were also present, each contributing to the night’s layered cultural presence.
The space leaned into a fútbol-inspired atmosphere, with guests arriving in jerseys and boots representing countries like Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. A mini pitch, interactive photo moments, and a 27-foot “Buchamión” truck offered guests the chance to engage and pick up exclusive merchandise tied to the release.
Buchanan’s Whisky
On the music side, DJ Hector and Dimelo Nino curated a seamless soundtrack, blending old-school reggaeton with Latin club cuts and selections from Rauw’s catalog. Buchanita cocktails flowed throughout the night, tying into Buchanan’s broader FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign as an ongoing nod to the intersection of music, culture, and the global game.
As midnight neared, Rauw took the stage to countdown the official release of “Dando Vueltas,” marking the latest chapter in his partnership with Buchanan’s ahead of the World Cup. From there, the night carried into an afterparty, where Buchanan’s bottle service and a closing set by DJ Fux kept the momentum going well past the premiere.
