Heatworks' Smart Tabletop Dishwasher Can Even Cook Lobsters
And clean your headwear.
South Carolina-based appliance manufacturer Heatworks has created a multi-use, app-controlled countertop dishwasher for residential purposes. Showcased at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, the Tetra dishwasher is an electrically-operated washer that plugs into outlets and allows users to fill it with water and detergent manually.
The machine then uses Ohmic Array Technology to utilize the natural minerals in water and heat it up, which can be controlled and washed remotely via a smartphone app. This function allows the water to sanitize products such as baby products, cook seafood, and it can even clean your dirty New Era caps from the early 2000’s. Although compact, the Tetra can hold two place settings for dinnerware and usually finishes its wash cycle in 10 minutes. Tetra will be available to purchase later this year for £210 GBP (roughly $297 USD.) Check out the visuals above and share your thoughts below.
