GX1000 Blacks Out the Converse CONS Jack Purcell Pro Ox
An all-black, skate-ready take on a tennis classic.

Having dropped pale grey iterations of the Chuck Taylor All Star and One Star just last month, Converse’s CONS skateboarding imprint is kicking off the new year with a brand new collaboration. The result? An all-black take on the iconic Jack Purcell.
Crafted in conjunction with San Francisco-based GX1000, the upcoming release sees the JP draped in sleek black leather to go along with a matching toe cap and sole. Even the silhouette’s signature “smile” gets the blacked-out treatment, while bold “GX1000” text appears in white on the custom insoles.
One of the grittier takes on a tennis shoe you’re likely to ever come across, the co-branded Jack Purcell Pro Ox is slated to hit CONS retailers like Premier this Thursday, January 4, for $85 USD.
