This past November, Erykah Badu took to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program to debut a stellar mix constructed of all sorts of soul-stirring, stick-to-your-ribs funk, R&B, jazz and soul. The Queen of modern soul featured music from Thundercat, Sun Ra, DeBarge, Hiatus Kaiyote and more, while serving as a prelude to her impressive recent project But You Caint Use My Phone. Now, she has uploaded the piece to Mixcloud and liberated for all to hear at any time. She also coupled the mix with the following message:
