A Closer Look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG Mowabb

Continuing its relationship with Nike, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus recently unveiled a powerhouse collaboration with the sneaker giant’s ACG division. Revealed during its Fall/Winter 2018 presentation, the fashion-meets-function CdG x Nike ACG Mowabb stood out amongst the label’s range of loud prints and bizarre headwear.
A fashion-focused take on the technical model, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus built upon the shoe’s mixed-material construction. Exaggerating the paneling on the Mowabb, the collaborative shoe features dynamic lines that accentuate the shape and neoprene bootie design. While CdG ankle branding, Nike heel counter and solid chunky midsole round up the design of the shoe.
No official release notes for the shoes just yet, but expect the powerhouse collaboration to hit COMME des GARÇONS retailers like Dover Street Market later this year in monochromatic black and white colorways.
