Gosha Rubchinskiy Gives the adidas Nemeziz Mid a Modern Makeover
Inspired by raving and soccer.
At the start of this year, Gosha Rubchinskiy blended together a variety of cultural influences for his Spring/Summer 2018 lineup. Specifically, the collection drew from the rave scene’s most notable eras and soccer, making two separate entities collide for a vibrant, forward-thinking take on fashion. Adding to that range, Rubchinskiy and company have partnered with adidas to reimagine some of adidas’ contemporary sneakers; most notably, Rubchinskiy is taking on the Nemeziz style for a new collaborative release.
Taking the Nemeziz Mid away from the soccer field and into the streetwear and high fashion world, Gosha Rubchinskiy and adidas are contributing to the evolution of current athleticwear and sock-shoe trends. For the item’s specific standout features, the pairing equips the Nemeziz Mid with Russian print motifs all over the exterior, agility bandages, torsion tapes and a lighter-toned blend of colors.
