Actress for Faith Evans in 2pac Biopic Revealed
Biggie’s wife in ‘All Eyez On Me.’
Another important role has been announced regarding the new 2Pac biopic All Eyez on Me. According to Deadline, actress-singer Grace Gibson will play as Faith Evans, Biggie‘s wife in the biopic. Read the announcement below:
Gibson is the daughter of Emmy-winning actress Lynn Whitfield and the late Emmy-winning director Brian Gibson and a recording artist herself. Evans, the first female artist to sign with P. Diddy via his Bad Boy Entertainment, became embroiled in the East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry and was married to Biggie Smalls at the time of his death. He was shot down in a drive-by outside the Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles.
Jeremy Haft and Ed Gonzalez penned the script and the film is being helmed by Benny Boom. James G. Robinson, David Robinson (via Morgan Creek Productions) and LT Hutton are producing. Shakur’s mom Afeni Shakur is getting an exec producer credit.
