Tru Life Signs to Future’s Freebandz Label

NYC rapper Tru Life has been free from the clutches of the New York penitentiary system for over a year now, and he’s finally found a record label to host and promote his musical output.

After previously linking up with JAY-Z’s Roc La Familia venture, the 41-year-old has joined up with Future‘s Freebandz label. Previous signees to the imprint include Young Scooter, Doe Boy, Casino and others. As revealed by an admission made to the Breakclub Club crew during a 2016 interview, Tru Life came up with Future during the Dungeon Family days.

At the present time, Tru Life is working on a new studio album. Most recently, Future has worked with Jeezy and Lil Durk on the recently-released joint single “Goofy” and collaborated with Young Thug on “Way Longer.”
