In 1976, American toy company Kenner Products first introduced an action figure called Stretch Armstrong made up of gelled cornstarch and rubber. Last year, Hasbro took ownership of the beloved toy and has recently teamed up with Netflix to produce an original animated series. The duo has just unveiled the first teaser for Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters, offering fans a look at the revamped Jake “Stretch” Armstrong as a teen crime-fighter alongside his two buds Nathan “Wingspan” Park and Ricardo “Omni-Mass” Perez.

The trio has all been accidentally exposed to radioactive chemicals, giving them unique superhero abilities. Jake can, well, expand his body parts to inhuman possibilities while “Wingspan” is able to fly with his stretchable wings. Last but not least, “Omni-Mass” has the ability to manipulate the size and mass of his body. Scott Menville, Steven Yeun, and Ogie Banks are the voice actors behind the powerful legion.

Check out the short clip above and expect Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters to release on Netflix later this year with approximately 26 episodes.
