New 'Assassin's Creed: Origins' Trailer Showcases the Strength of "The Order"
Explore the mysterious group secretly controlling ancient Egypt.
With just over a month left before Assassin’s Creed: Origins makes its way to console and PC, the folks over at Ubisoft released a new trailer that highlights the strength of the game’s antagonists. Dubbed “The Order,” the video displays the mysterious group’s power as they strike fear into the hearts of ancient Egyptians.
Using brute force and conniving tactics, the clip further previews how The Order will stop at nothing until everything in its path is crushed. Bayek, the main protagonist of the game, is tasked with stopping The Order and bringing peace back to his homeland. Acting as a prelude for the rest of the series, Bayek’s actions and decision play a large part in the formation of the Assassin’s Brotherhood featured throughout the rest of the franchise. Rather than showing a cinematic trailer like they did at E3 and Gamescom, Ubisoft opted to create the game’s latest teaser using actual gameplay footage recorded in 4K.
