MYKITA Teams up With 424 on a Limited Edition Eyewear Collection
Limited to 50 pieces per colorway.

Closely following its joint ventures alongside both Maison Margiela and Tim Coppens, MYKITA this time aligns with Guillermo Andrade’s 424 imprint on a limited edition eyewear collection. Specifically commissioned with the streetwear mainstay in mind, the custom design focuses on the ERIN silhouette — a personal favorite of Andrade — and is offered in either “Shiny Silver/Ultra Red” and/or “Glossy Gold/Super Blue” colorway iterations. An innovative depiction of both brands, the collection not only touches upon each other’s artistic philosophies, but its locality as well — combining a minimal German aesthetic with a laid back Californian disposition.
When asked to comment on the collaboration, Guillermo Andrade had this to say, “I think any time two different worlds come together it makes for an interesting project.” Later adding, “The quality and expertise of MYKITA meeting with our raw approach to product is why I was so excited to work on this.” Limited to just 50 pieces per colorway, you can find the new designs at MYKITA’s Los Angeles location on September 8, and at MYKITA New York/Tokyo, 424 on Fairfax, DSM Tokyo and online as of September 9.
