Amazon Turns the Hit Podcast 'Lore' Into a Six-Episode Horror Miniseries

Aaron Mahnke’s urban legend investigation podcast Lore is having six of its segments run via a show on Amazon. Since 2015, the audio show has delved deep into the true stories of phobias and the macabre that are usually unsettling, perfect for Halloween. The visuals of the Amazon adaptation will utilize documentary and archival footage, narration, and re-enactments.
Tales include a pre-industrial haunting, a man who suspects his wife of being a shapeshifting demon and a child who speaks to a doll whose voice only he can hear, just to name a few. Lore the series will debut on Amazon Prime on Friday, October 13th.
