An Exclusive First Look at Wood Wood's Upcoming Barbour Collaboration
Danish design meets English heritage.
This summer has seen Copenhagen’s Wood Wood celebrate its 15th birthday by launching a slew of collaborations, including a football-themed adidas Originals capsule and two pairs of sneakers with ASICS. The latest joint venture from the Danish brand sees them team up with British heritage label Barbour, the second time the two brands have worked together. The capsule collection is heavy on the kind of outerwear that Barbour is renowned for with the brand’s famous wax jacket given an update that sees cord-lined pockets and a thick quilted lining added.
Other outerwear sees two waterproof breathable jackets released featuring “Nautical Blue” and “Buoy Orange” pops of color on their linings and zips. The collection also includes other apparel, with graphic tees and sweats as well as scarves and hats for the winter months. Barbour’s Wood Wood collaboration is set to roll out in three stages, dropping exclusively on the Danish brand’s web store and physical locations on September 9, before releasing at END. a week later and then via the Barbour web store and select stockists on September 23.
