Globally-renowned fashion bible Vogue has just announced its first ever fashion conference, dubbed Forces of Fashion. The one-day event, launched in partnership with American Airlines and HP, is set to take place this October in the Big Apple, where a series of in-depth dialogues focusing on the state of the industry will occur among some of fashion’s biggest names. Tickets, which can be purchased online, are priced at a cool $3,000 USD, with notable designers such as Virgil Abloh, Heron Preston, Marc Jacobs, Demna Gvasalia, Dries Van Noten, John Galliano and Stella McCartney currently set to participate.

Here’s what Vogue‘s Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour, has to say about the event:

When it came to our 125th anniversary, designers had to be part of the celebration; who they are, and what they do, is so much part of Vogue. Yet we wanted to do something that is different, and which speaks to the world today; the collective desire for experience and connection… Forces of Fashion will bring together some of our favorite names, and allow them the opportunity to speak in a way they’ve never done before; live and direct with Vogue’s editors on a day that we believe will be as informative as it is intimate. You’ll need to be there to really experience it!

Heron Preston’s standpoint in the fashion realm will surely be a highlight of the conference, as he has recently finished his “FOR YOU, THE WORLD” event also in New York.
