Solange has announced that she’ll be displaying her latest film, called Seventy States, at London’s Tate Modern museum. The display will be part of the “Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power” exhibition, which will have an extended list of events as part of the Uniqlo Tate Late.
The film is described as a “digital interactive dossier”, which explores the behind-the-scenes process behind the visual language used in the videos for “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair.” They’ll both be unreleased performance pieces and an installation by Ricardo Basbaum.
In addition to the digital display at Tate Modern, there’s also an interactive video you can view at the Tate Modern’s website.
Seventy States will be on display today.
