Today, the up-and-coming songstress unlaces a new smoky-saccharine single that’s fittingly titled, “Honey Whiskey.” Produced by her frequent collaborator AOBeats, the song was conceptualized through a friend who had a wild and spontaneous love affair during her travels that she explains was “the electricity of undeniable attraction and reckless euphoria.”
Meanwhile, ”Honey Whiskey” follows her collaborative effort with Manila Killa on the hit single “Youth,” which has garnered nearly three million Spotify streams. About “Honey Whiskey,” Satica tells us:
It was inspired by a close friend who experienced a spontaneous, wild, and heated romance while traveling, I decided to live vicariously through her experience and tell this story. Honey Whiskey is a tale of two new young lovers who have found each other during the most unexpected time and in the most unexpected place.
