After the resurrection of the Nike Air Max 1 and Air Max 95 “Skull” sneaker, Nike is releasing a “Rebel Skull” version of the Air Max 90 to round off the summer. Inspired by Olympian runner Steve Prefontaine’s Marshfield High School Pirates team logo, the Air Max 90 sports an overall dark look, featuring all-black uppers in premium suede and leather with a contrasting white midsole. As per the rest of the sneakers in the “Rebel Skull” collection, the Air Max 90 displays the signature skull and crossbones motif in silver thread on the tongue.

All three models included in the “Rebel Skulls” collection will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers and the official Nike website on September 4.

Also, Ronnie Fieg and Scottie Pippen recently teased their upcoming collaborative Nike project.
