New iPhone 8 Leak Reveals Launch Date
Happening this fall.

Another day, another iPhone 8 leak. This time the latest rumor surrounding Apple’s iPhone 8 comes via the French site, Mac4Ever, which states the keynote date of the highly-anticipated model will take place on September 12, citing carrier sources. The report goes on to state mobile phone operators have already been told when to expect the Apple announcement as to prepare for inventory and marketing for the new devices.
This date of September 12 holds true to tradition considering in the past, Apple has announced and launched its previous models during this same time frame. Along with the OLED iPhone 8, it’s expected Apple will also announce the iterative iPhone 7s. Assuming this is the finalized date, this would mean the iPhone 8 along with the iPhone 7s will go up for pre-order on Friday, September 15 with a release on the 22.
In the past months, a launch in October or later was rumored due to supply constraints. If the rollout does occur in September, the iPhone 8 could see very limited quantities.
Along with the new iPhones, the September event could also feature a new third-generation Apple Watch with cellular LTE radios, and a 4K Apple TV update. Apple has yet to confirm a date, but keep it locked here as more details unfold.
