Hot Toys Unveils Strikingly-Realistic Anakin Skywalker Collectible
Before the Vader years.
Hot Toys has revealed plans for another worthy addition to the Star Wars collectible market. After turning famed superheroes Batman, Hulk, Thor and Iron Man into incredibly lifelike figurines, Hot Toys has produced a strongly realistic Anakin Skywalker model.
A 1/6th scale design, the new figure measures 31 centimeters tall and boasts a special head sculpt, an “interchangeable mechno right arm,” an LED-propelled blue lightsaber and Count Dooku’s red lightsaber. As Hot Toys explain, the entire project is “meticulously crafted” — from the facial likeness to his apparel, everything has been perfected. Regarding artistic direction and painting, J.C. Hong and E-Lee were enlisted for those essential duties.
