The M100 Is Canon's New Compact Mirrorless Camera
With similar specs as the M5 at half the cost.
Canon has announced a new mirrorless camera called the M100, the followup to its two-year-old M10 which possesses a similar makeup to the M5 and a lighter design. The M100 is a $599 USD starter camera with the same specs as the M5 and M6 but at half the cost.
The M100 utilizes a 42.2-megapixel APS-C sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 7 processor, as well as the ability to shoot video in 1080p at up to 60fps while rifling off still frames at about 6.1 fps. It uses Canon’s Dual Pixel autofocus system and also features Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity. The M100 will be available in black or white starting in October.
