Bristol Los Angeles Hits the Court in the adidas Crazy ADV Series
The SoCal imprint highlights the ADV renditions of both the Crazy 8 and Crazy 1.
Originally unleashed to coincide with this year’s NBA Finals, the adidas Crazy ADV series sees two of the Three Stripes’ most iconic basketball silhouettes — the Crazy 8 and Crazy 1 — with modern updates that echo the forward-thinking designs of the OGs. From the Crazy 8 ADV’s Primeknit-constructed upper to the Crazy 1 ADV’s luxurious materials and minimalist color palette, the highly coveted releases (which were limited to just 100 pairs in their commencing black and white forms) are one of adidas’s best modern day updates yet — and that’s saying something considering the recent success of adi’s resurrected EQT lineup. So, to celebrate the ADV drops, Bristol Los Angeles took the kicks to the outdoor courts that dot LA, highlighting the contemporary Crazy homages in their natural habitat — the Crazy 1 and 8 did make their original mark in the City of Angels, after all.
