Italian brand Diadora has teamed up with the man who took Italy to the final of the 1994 World Cup to celebrate the tournament. The “Made in Italy” apparel collection has been inspired by legendary Italian footballer Roberto Baggio and his World Cup exploits, including winning Man of the Match in the semi-final at New Jersey’s Giants Stadium. The collection features a track jacket, a T-shirt and a sweater that all bare an embroidered version of Baggio’s autograph, while the prints and materials all reference iconic Italian sportswear. As well as the apparel, Diadora is also dropping the Intrepid sneaker in its OG colorway, which comes with Vibrassorb inserts and Impact control system to reinforce the silhouette’s comfort.

The Roberto Baggio x Diadora capsule is dropping on July 15, and will be available from END.

Diadora has been looking at other classic sports moments, with a new MSGM collaboration that looks at the 1980 Wimbledon game between Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe.
