An Official Look at Raf Simons' Latest Eastpak Collaboration
“Timeless, pragmatic and luxurious.”

Eastpak has released an official look at its fifth collaboration with Belgian designer Raf Simons, which premiered at New York fashion week back in February. For the latest drop, which makes up part of Raf Simons’ 2017 fall/winter collection, the designer has taken inspiration from his new home town of New York as well as his continuing interest in youth culture. The two backpacks in the collection both mix high-end touches with youthful influences, with materials such as full-grain leather being used alongside regular materials including canvas and washed nylon. Both bags also come with a large front pocket, a zippered hidden stash pocket under the top flap, and an integrated laptop sleeve.
Speaking about the latest collaboration, Simons described the two bags as “timeless, pragmatic and luxurious,” and explained that he keeps working with Eastpak because of the brand’s “connection with youth, the mutual understanding and respect.” The new season of bags from Raf Simons and Eastpak is dropping on July 24, with both bags being available from the Eastpak web store and select retailers. The large back is set to retail at £200 GBP (roughly $258 USD), while the smaller of the bags is priced at £140 GBP, or $180 USD.
As well as collaborating with Raf Simons, Eastpak has just given a closer look at a joint collection with Parisian label AMI.
