Looking ahead to the upcoming 2018 spring/summer season, École de Pensée devise a sophisticated range of pieces that borrow from the seaside lifestyle of the French Riviera. The assemblage adheres to a tonal palette comprised mainly of blue, brown and black, while embracing a carefree, relaxed aesthetic — symbolic of the mediterranean island way of life. Loose cuts, lightweight fabrics and soft structures help characterize the range — opting to do away with complex shapes and garish prints. The Montreal-based label made a strategic play to key in on expert craftsmanship — carefully curating premium-style textiles including English linens, Japanese dyed hemps and Zimbabwean cottons.
