Although it’s most commonly seen on the soccer pitch as a boot, the adidas Nemeziz model has transformed into the street-ready Nemeziz Tango 17.1 over the past few months, from the triple black UltraBOOST model, to a black-and-white striped version a few months ago. Now, the sneaker form of Lionel Messi’s signature boot has received a turquoise and black makeover. The sneaker has been constructed with adidas’s signature TORSIONTAPES wrapped around the upper for extra stability, as well as the brand’s AGILITYKNIT material for a lightweight feel. The TORSIONTAPES are made with striped lines of turquoise and black, with the laces adopting the same color.

The sneaker is also made with adidas’s TORSIONRIBS sole, designed for extra support when pushing off, thus allowing for extra speed and agility. The rubber soles are white with hits of the same blue used for the upper.

The adidas Nemeziz Tango 17.1 “Ocean Storm” is available now online and through select adidas retailers for $140 USD. Make sure you’re also caught up on all this week’s anticipated sneaker drops.
