COMME des GARÇONS HOMME's 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Sees Technical Takes on Wardrobe Staples
Color-blocked raincoats, multi-functional blazers, and more.
For COMME des GARÇONS HOMME’s Plus division, Junya Watanabe immersed Paris Fashion Week attendees into a psychedelic atmosphere with models donning vibrant wigs, sequin tops, as well as baby doll accessories. The Japanese designer’s recent lookbook for the standard CdG HOMME imprint, however, is a complete 180. Watanabe opts for a more pared-back palette alongside subtle color blocking for a modish touch. A slew of well-tailored sportswear pieces collides with traditional suiting. Standout items in the range span pin-striped rain coats, multi-functional blazers, button-down shirts with front pocket zips, and shorts swathed in neutral grey.
