After making its round at a handful of film festivals around the world, Bushwick is finally set to hit the big screen. Starring David Bautista and Brittany Snow, the film follows the plot line of a modern day American civil war, where Texas military forces invade the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick and declare Martial Law. Aided by a war veteran named Stupe, the two must survive and find a way out of the chaos.

Bushwick made its debut back in January at the Sundance Film Festival and began circling around the indie film world. The film was nominated for the Narcisse Award for best feature film at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland. View the full Bushwick trailer above and mark your calendars for its August 25 release date.
