Following yesterday’s news that saw a disturbing video surface featuring A$AP Bari, his associates, and a female in obvious distress, the VLONE figurehead has now issued a statement to clarify the situation. The statement was sent out by his publicist in the form of an email, as well as via social media on Bari’s Twitter account and can be read below.

A misleading video clip featuring adult content and activity has been released to the public without my knowledge or consent.

Comments about myself or anyone being detained or arrested are false. We have resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults. We were friends before this and will remain friends afterwards

Being raised by strong women who taught me to respect everyone, I’m disappointed in the situation as well as myself and will reflect on the situation appropriately.

Users on Reddit and KanyeToThe.com first broke the story after finding it on Instagram accounts such as @soledout, which also seems to be deactivated. Stay tuned for updates if more information comes through.
