Amazon has rolled out a number of lockers in various public locations to receive packages, but now the aim is to deliver the service to apartment tenants. Hubs are to be installed in condos, apartment buildings and complexes exclusively, according to the company. The Hubs can be used to receive packages from Amazon as well as other sites and retailers. This initiative is a means of combating those with no concierge or open management offices to receive parcels. The box is accessed by a simple passcode on the Hub’s touchscreen. The locker has an indoor and outdoor version that’s available in four colors and several sizes starting a six-foot wide.

If you feel your place needs a Hub portal, convince your landlord to submit an application.
