John Elliot continues his sportswear-inspired theme from this year’s New York Fashion Week showing with this accompanying lookbook. This “Stretch the Floor” campaign harkens back to playing summer hoops, specifically in the AAU and high school circuit, where traveling teams from different regions often exchange cultural styles. The collection, displayed in the lookbook above, offers a mix of traditional menswear garments with a sportswear staple edge. Standout pieces include a striped gray turtleneck and black long coat atop a denim jacket. The book’s photography was shot inside of an LA-based high school, using the school’s tracks and gymnasium, the latter of which has a court that retracts into an indoor pool.

John Elliot’s 2017 fall/winter collection will drop online on July 31.
