Levi's® Japan Is Bringing Back The Silver Tab® Line
Make room for something roomier.

Coming off the back of its Levi’s® Made & Crafted x OFF-WHITE™ drop last month, the denim brand’s Japanese division has now announced it will be re-introducing its classic Silver Tab® collection. Launched back in 1988, the roomier Silver Tab line was the brand’s response to the broadening appeal of baggy denim in more washed out tones, popularised by various musicians — in genres spanning everything from hip-hop to grunge — of the time. Now, with the circle having been completed and baggier jeans making their way firmly back in to style some 29 years since Silver Tab’s original launch, the line is officially back in action today — July 28 — in condensed form.
Consisting of a pair of graphic tees and three jean silhouettes, the capsule drops today at Levi’s retailers in Japan with a view to expanding out globally in the near future. In the mean time, why not check out this custom denim jacket the brand gifted WWDC 2017 attendees.
