Apple Gifted This Custom Levi's Denim Jacket for WWDC 2017 Attendees

Every year Apple thanks its highly-valued developers at WWDC with a special gift, and this year’s offering is a customized event-branded trucker jacket — perhaps the most stylish of its offerings to date.
The thick outerwear, produced on a genuine Levi’s denim jacket and given exclusively to the registered developers, is heavily dyed black with all-black stitching, hardware, and a leather embossed neck patch. An embroidered “WWDC17” is the only embellishment that stands out from the minimalistic jacket, alongside the symbolic red “Levi’s” tag. To give it an extra step of style, the jacket comes with a slew of rubber-back pins that range from recognizable Apple symbols and icons, along with a mini badge of the developer’s country of origin to provide a sense of national pride.
The previous years’ jackets were mostly sleeker “tech-friendly” track jackets that spoke more to comfort than style. And while Apple has the realm of fashion within its sights, this year’s swag is a step in the right direction when it comes to being in tune with the trend of Americana styling and away from the stereotypes of unfashionable tech chic.
