Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) began today in San Jose, California, and the organizers behind the event welcomed attendees with a zany video. The intro visual, entitled “Appocalypse,” depicts a world without apps. Global mayhem and madness ensue after a new hire pulls the plug on an app store server inside of Apple’s data center. Apple shared the visual on YouTube after premiering it at WWDC. The tech giant added a simple description to the video which read, “Ever wonder what life would be like if all our apps suddenly disappeared? Enter the Appocalypse.”
