“Go Blue.”
Jordan Brand recently paid tribute to Michael Jordan’s alma mater with last week’s showing of the Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit “Tar Heel” silhouette. The low-top lifestyle crossover is back this time to commemorate yet another collegiate team with its brand new “Michigan” drop. Building on its burgeoning relationship, Jordan Brand and the Michigan Wolverines organization come together to unveil this tonal university-themed model. The shoe features an intricately woven constructed upper in the school’s signature hues, with the taglines “Go Blue” and “Jordan” hitting the heel area. Found on the vamp region support strap is the Jumpman logo making its way on to the outer side, while MJ’s number 23 lands on the medial side. Retailing for $140 USD, the Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit “Michigan” will make its way to Nike’s online shop on August 5.
In case you missed it, JAY-Z and PUMA recently revealed its 4:44 collaboration.
