The Air Jordan 1 Flyknit "Banned" Now Has a Fall Release Date
Mark your calendars.
It’s time for fans of Air Jordans and Nike‘s Flyknit models to open up the calendars on their phones and punch a new date in. As Sneaker News notes, the much-anticipated Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Banned” sneaker now has an official release date. Back in May, initial shots of the “Banned” iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit leaked and a closer look also surfaced; along with the photograph, rumors circulated regarding a possible September release date. Now, it looks like we can pinpoint September 9 as the day the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Banned” will arrive.
At present time, a release date for the other major Air Jordan 1 Flyknit — the “Royal” colorway — has yet to be announced. Earlier this month, Jordan Brand revealed plans for a “timeless” black and white take on the Air Jordan 1 Mid.
