Blackmeans & SUICOKE's Striking New BOAK Sandals Give New Meaning to Comfort & Style
Two Japanese cult favorites collide.
The Tokyo-based leather connoisseurs at Blackmeans have linked up with another Japanese purveyor of high-end products for a new collaboration fit for the warmer months. After teaming up with California’s John Elliott to produce MOTO Sandals inspired by the deserts of the American Southwest, Japan’s cult favorite SUICOKE takes things back home for a special Blackmeans collaboration.
Unveiling two new sandal models, Blackmeans and SUICOKE have manufactured a very unique, creative twist on the fashion-forward sandals SUICOKE has built its reputation on. With a sturdy, well-constructed Vibram footbed as its base, Blackmeans and SUICOKE’s new BOAK sandals feature an EVA-and-rubber blend known as MORFLEX as the item’s primary material; the two Japanese outfits’ new collaboration is also available in black/red and carmine/off-white colorways.
You can check out the Blackmeans x SUICOKE BOAK sandals for yourself above, and expect the product to be available for purchase by the end of this month. Last fall, Blackmeans — like SUICOKE — teamed up with John Elliott to create a very impressive pair of high-end leather stadium and rider’s jackets.
