adidas Baseball's 2017 Icon 3 "Legends" Pack Debuts the First Cleats With BOOST
Five bold colorways inspired by influential American cities.
adidas Baseball has just revealed its new 2017 Icon 3 “Legends” pack, which includes new Icon Cleat and Icon Turf Trainer models that combine bold styling with performance engineering. The Icon 3 Cleat is the first baseball cleat to feature a full-length BOOST midsole for advanced energy-return and ultimate comfort, while a TECHFIT compression bootie provides breathable, sock-like flexibility and movement.
In terms of aesthetics, the “Legends” pack also brings forth the first clear-plated adidas cleats that reveal graphics beneath. The bold colorways draw inspiration from five of influential American cities — Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta — and are constructed with premium materials such as linen, suede, faux fur and faux alligator materials.
The adidas Baseball 2017 Icon 3 “Legends” pack will be available at adidas’ online store on July 10. The Icon 3 Cleats with BOOST will retail for $120 USD while the Icon Turf Trainers will run for $100 USD.
