After teasing the record earlier this week, the Fool’s Gold Records architect serves up the melodic “Believe” with Lil Yachty and Quavo. Recorded at Atlanta’s renowned Quality Control Studios, “Believe” is about as bright and lighthearted as contemporary Atlanta rap records get. Even when he raps about a sawed-off shotgun during his verse on today’s release, Quavo sounds as happy and carefree as can be.
Debuted earlier today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program, A-Trak, Quavo and Lil Yachty’s new joint single “Believe” is available for streaming above. Earlier this year, A-Trak also cooked up a new remix of Phantogram’s “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore” with Chicago artist Joey Purp.
