'4:44' Has Become JAY-Z's 14th Billboard 200 Number 1
One week overdue.

Two weeks after dropping his 13th studio album over the course of 21 years, JAY-Z‘s 4:44 is officially sitting pretty at the top of the Billboard 200 chart — the 14th time a work with JAY’s name attached has occupied that position. Already certified platinum — shifting 262,000 album units, 174,00 of which came from traditional album sales by the week ending July 13 — 4:44 should have taken the number one spot a whole week earlier, but failed to do so when TIDAL went without declaring streaming numbers to Nielsen Music for the first seven days. Still, it all comes through in the end, right?
In other Jigga news, German sportswear brand PUMA has confirmed it will collaborate with JAY on his upcoming 4:44 Tour with more details to be “shared at the appropriate time.” Stay tuned.
