Volcom & Stab Innovate the Sport With "Dock Surfing"
“Paddling is a thing of the past.”
Recently Volcom teamed up with Stab to install a floating dock anchored in the middle of an A-frame peak in Bali, Indonesia. Known as the Dock, this new innovative wave entry technique allows surfers to save their energy by paddling less. However it’s pretty dangerous if you don’t time your drop well. Measured at 100ft in length and weighing half a ton, watch as talented surfers Balaram Stack, Imaikalani Devault, Noa Deane, Ozzie Wright, Mitch Coleborn and Yago Dora take on the new challenge by catching waves right off the Dock.
