Here's What You'll Have to Pay for Supreme x Louis Vuitton in Europe
Not for the faint of heart.
Pricing for the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collection has started to reveal itself to its respective cities, with European prices arriving first.
Beginning with the most coveted item of all — the collaborative box logo T-shirt — the cost is apparently €390 EUR (approx. $445 USD). This would equate to about 10x the cost of the standard box logo T-shirt as available from a Supreme retail store in the U.S. Other prices reveal the inflation to be similar in scale, such as the box logo hoodie at €750 EUR (~$855 USD), overalls for €1,500 EUR (~$1,710 USD), satin pajama bottoms for €1,200 EUR (~$1,370 USD), and the crew sweatshirt for €590 EUR (~$675 USD). The more expensive items revealed thus far falls under the outerwear variety — the leather varsity jacket and fur parka are priced at €3,500 and €3,200 EUR (~$4,000, $3,650 USD) respectively. The now-infamous trunks however takes the cake, coming in at a whopping €50,000 EUR for the storage trunk and €40,000 EUR for the skateboard trunk; that’s about $57,077 USD and $45,662 USD respectively. Many can agree that luxury labels are luxury labels for a reason — their attention to quality, exclusivity and heritage is all exemplified in the pricing required. But how would that mentality change when a streetwear brand, not synonymous for exorbitant pricing, is included into the mix? Sometimes things can be muddled when the streets mix with the boutiques.
